Biography
Jingjing LIAO has a background of wood science. Her passion is to broaden the usage of a kind of biopolymer – tannins on material science. This biopolymer can be easily extracted from a highly abundant residues in wood industry. Her work started to use tannin resin, a traditional adhesive for wood bonding, as a thermoset component compound with Polypropylene. Following is the work about tannins/bioplastics composite filament for 3D printing.
